iPad: The First 24 Hours

Strangely, I fell in love with it. Not only with the overall design and build-quality, but the content delivery. I’ve been able to focus with must less distractions than a normal computer. My only complaints is the occasional content hole from a website that still uses inefficient delivery systems of their media, and not have purchasing it with a 3G antenna. The awkwardness of it’s size when on-the-go is overlooked by it’s overall beauty and simplicity. I was planning on returning it after 14-days and sacrificing a small restocking fee, but not anymore. It fits so nicely in my daily life and handles my workflow so well that I don’t think I would want to part with it. Even though it overlaps a lot of what I can do with my iPhone and MacBook, but I can see it becoming part of my daily life, and it has. I haven’t had it more than 4 feet from me in 36-hours. It replaces about 75% of work I normally do on a laptop, and performs almost all of my phone’s tasks as well. It’s a perfect fit.
